You can either upload an image file of your choosing, or you can select an individual

To increase the initial effect, it is possible to produce an individual start screen for each video. There are different possibilities: either a desired image file is upoaded or any frame from the video itself is captured and then set as start screen.

Open

To begin, open the Thumbnails accordion menu

Using a video frame as thumbnail

with the help of the corresponding control on the player

  2. When the image you wish to use as a thumbnail is on screen, click Image Added.

  3. The selected screenshot appears in the gallery and immediately becomes the video's active thumbnail.
Once you get to the place with the desired image, click on the button [Image Removed Screenshot].
Confirm your selection by clicking on the [Image Removed] button. The selected screenshot appears in the selection gallery and is set directly as start screen of the video.

  • Within the gallery of thumbnails you can also replace, download or delete a thumbnail by using the appropriate buttons.
    1. You can activate any thumbnail in the gallery with its check mark button [Image Added], making it the active thumbnail.
    2. Delete unwanted thumbnails by clicking the image's trash can button [Image Added].

    Uploading a thumbnail image

    1. To upload an image file from your computer and use it as a thumbnail. click the [Upload image] panel. Then select the desired file.

      Note

      The file may not exceed 10 MB.

    2. You may now set the uploaded image as the active thumbnail by clicking the image's check mark button [Image Added].
