Through the role concept in the VideoManager, you have the ability to assign certain properties and rights to a user as an administrator. Typically, roles are in the context of the tasks that users perform. In this way, sets of rights are defined as user role, so that you can assign many users without having to set permissions for individual accounts. Working with user roles simplifies administration, if e.g. the rights structure changes.
