Once the upload process is started, you can edit metadata of the file. For this purpose, different editing options are available in the right pane of the VideoManager.
To edit video data, take the following steps:
- Select the desired video in the video list by clicking on the appropriate entry. If necessary, you must search for the desired video by means of the search function. In the right pane of the window, you have the video preview, as well as all data on the selected video. Here, you can make changes as needed.
- In the accordion menu Metadata you can make the following settings:
- video title
- description
- keywords
- person in charge
Note
Possibly more metadata fields are added by your administrator, you can edit them as usual.
- In the accordion menu Security you have the following editing options:
- video release (also time-controlled)
- download release
- Time-controlled deletion
- security settings
Note
Please keep in mind that a video release is only possible if the conversion of all formats is complete. Therefore you cannot release a video directly after the upload.
All standard formats of a video are displayed in the accordion menu Video Formats. Here, it is also possible to download any format by clicking on the corresponding [Download] button.
A download is possible onlyif you have previously released the download (see above "download release").
