Note

"Video Conference" is a separate feature package and may not be available in your WebCastWebcast.

With video conference connectors, you can use Webcast as a single video conference room, allowing participants to dial in from multiple video conference platforms (Skype for Business, Google Hangouts, WebRTC etc.) at the same time, all using the same link, without worrying about compatibility or bandwidthto redistribute all the participants in a video conference to an audience of "view-only" attendees. You can use a variety of video conference platforms, including Skype for Business and Google Hangouts.

Important notes about connectors:

  • To use connectors, you must  set set a date, time and duration for your webcast. This is to prevent connectors from being used at the same time.
  • A WebCast Webcast can only have two connectors at a time

To set up a video connector, select "Video Conference" from the left-hand menuuse a video conference connector, first ensure that the Webcast is linked to a Video Conference connector. Click the blue [ + Create ] button.

Enter a name for your connector and hit click the blue [ + Create ] button again.

...

  • Copy Address - copy the alias to your clipboard
  • Update - change the name of your connector
  • Delete - permanently delete the connector from your WebCast Webcast account
