Description

You can enable or disable referrer protection for your CorporateTube page. A content security feature, referrer protection prevents your CorporateTube page from

• being hotlinked or embedded by another website
• being scraped and previewed elsewhere
• being downloaded and unlawfully redistributed.

Specifically, referrer protection in CorporateTube blocks requests from referrers not listed as valid referrers.

Use case

If your CorporateTube is embedded in an iframe, and you want to prevent users from accessing it directlyvia the direct link (for example, movingimage.corporate.tube), you can define a list of places (domains) where your CorporateTube can be embedded.

Steps

When enabled, the iframe-embedded CorporateTube will only be accessible to domains found in the allowed referral URL list.

If you want to enable access for multiple domains, separate each domain address using a comma:

*.movingimage.com, *.corporate.tube

The asterisk symbol *  is a wildcard symbol that stands for any amount of letters or characters in your URL.
