...

being hotlinked or embedded by another website

...

.

Use case

If your CorporateTube is embedded in an iframe, and you want to prevent users from accessing it via the direct link

...

, you can define a list of

...

refer domains to protect the direct access.

If more security features are desired, consult the Single-Sign on (SSO) security option.

Referrer Domain

To permit access only to browsers referred from specific domains, toggle Referrer Protection in the admin area.

There, you can add either a fully-qualified domain, such as www.movingimage.com, or a wildcard domain such as *.movingimage.com.

In the second case, note that the wildcard *. implies any subdomain of movingimage.com. The value entered is validated and permitted.

...

Steps

When enabled, the iframe-embedded CorporateTube will only be accessible to domains found in the allowed referral URL list.

Image Removed

Toggle the Referrer Protection feature to enable it.

Then, specify the domain addresses that are allowed to access your CorporateTube page.

Info

The domain address is where Internet users access your website. For example, you can enter movingimage.com as a valid referrer domain address. Remember to remove http://www from the domain address.

If you want to enable access for multiple domains, separate each domain address using a comma:

*.movingimage.com, *.corporate.tube

The asterisk symbol *  is a wildcard symbol that stands for any amount of letters or characters in your URL.
