To configure a webcast, proceed as follows:
- In the navigation panel, click the entry "Webcast". In the editing area, you will see a list of all previously created webcasts.
- Click on the [Create] button to open an input mask.
Enter the data that that are described in the following.
Fields marked with "*" are required information.
In the General information area, the following data are required:
Parameter Description Name Webcast name Start date Enter the date of the event. Alternatively use the calendar tool. Start time Enter the event time in hh:mm. Security Activate the checkbox if you want a password input and then specify the password in the text box provided for this purpose. Dataminer VideoManager Activate the checkbox if you want to select a VideoManager. In the dropdown-menu, select the desired VideoManager. For the design of the webcast page, you can make the following configuration under Design:
Parameter Description Logo Enter the URL to the logo you want to integrate. Background color Enter a valid HEX code for the background (e.g. #ccff33). Player position Select the player position by activating the corresponding radio button: - left

Settings for the live stream will be made in the Live area.
Parameter Description Streaming server From the drop down.menu, select a streaming server for the live stream. Audio only stream Activate the checkbox, if only the audio track will be made available. Audio only screenshot If you have selected "Audio only", you can optionally display a screenshot during the live stream. To do this, specify the URL to the desired screenshot. Settings for the stream which will be available after the actual event, are made in the Post-live area.
Parameter Description HLS-URL Dash-URL Use DVR in post-live Audio only stream Activate the checkbox, if only the audio track will be made available. Audio only screenshot If you have selected "Audio only", you can optionally display a screenshot during the live stream. To do this, specify the URL to the desired screenshot. Settings for the on-demand stream are made in the On-Demand area.
