The search function allows you to search for specific videos. The basic search includes video titles, IDs, descriptions, chapters and overlays.
You have the option of doing a basic search, or adding filters to further refine your search.
Searches and filters cannot contain special characters (such as "@", "#", "!").
Even after renaming a video, you can still search for it using the original filename.
Basic Search
To search for videos, click the [ search ] button in the video toolbar and enter a search term. The results will be displayed in the video list.
Filters
Filtering can be done by title, description or uploader. You can also use substrings (that is, parts of a word or phrase) in your search query.
1. To set up a filter, click the [ search ] button at the top of the video list.
2. Click the [ Add Filter ] button underneath. Choose the filter type you'd like to create.
3. In the filter edit area, enter your keywords into the field you want to search by.
You can further refine your search results by using multiple filter fields or filter types.
