To ensure that only authorized users access VideoManager, you can create user accounts with appropriate rights in the user management. In this way all users have to login to the system with valid access data and can only perform program functions according to the user rights (e.g. editing video data, creating channel).
The following editing options are available for user accounts:
| Editing Option | Description |

| Create | Creating a new user account for VideoManager |
| Deactivate | Deactivating an existing, active account |
| Confirmation mail | A newly created account has not been confirmed by the receiver yet. You can send a new confirmation mail to this receiver. |
