The movingimage player has features that ensure a barrier-free access to videos, so that a large group of users can be reached. This includes for example, that videos can be provided with subtitles or all control functions of your player are operable with the keyboard.

In the following, you will get an overview of these features.

Keypad Operations

By default, users are able to control the movingimage player without using a mouse or other input methods. The following table lists the functions with respective keyboard key:

Function	Key
Direct focus to inside the player/ leave the focus of the player	tab
Navigate to all of the player control elements	tab
Activate/ deactivate control element	return or space
Forward/ rewind on the seek bar	left and right arrow cursor
Control the volume	left and right arrow cursor or up and down arrow cursor

When a control is selected, the corresponding button is visually highlighted.
