Nothing is more important for a successful webcast event than making sure our platform has plenty of resources to manage your audience. With today's release, we introduce an intelligent auto-scaling process, that ensures we have appropriate resources before, during and after your events.

Every few minutes, we calculate the overall number of viewers our platform has to support for all planned and in-progress Webcast events, and automatically adjust our infrastructure accordingly.

To best support you, we encourage you to set an accurate event start date, duration and expected viewers through Webcast Manager.

Switching your event to post-live state is an important part of a Webcast: it marks the end of your live presentation, triggers the upload of the recorded event to VideoManager Pro, and presents the recorded event to viewers who may have arrived late and missed some parts of the live event.

In case you forget to make this switch, Webcast will automatically transition the event to post-live state approximately one hour after the end time (base on the moment the event was started )
Note: This new logic is an update of the previous implementation that was announced in this Release Note (on ).

More information is available in the Webcast Manager documentation.
