The channel access can be controlled in the administration area of VideoManager. You can protect main channels including its sub-channels. Protected channels and all linked videos are basically not visible in the video asset management.
The administrator can release protected channels for particular roles which means that users with this role have access to this channel (and sub-channels) and linked videos.
